Welcome to the site. We’re Music Never Stops: the Tyler Seaman Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New York. Here you’ll find out who we are and about Tyler’s Room, our first big project. Music Never Stops: the Tyler Seaman Foundation exists to provide funding for music therapy programs; to provide funds to help offset the costs of music therapy sessions, instruments, recording equipment, computer programs and computer software that will be used to make and share music; to organize a support network of cancer survivors to provide guidance for families whose children have recently been diagnosed with cancer; to conduct community discussions and forums to disseminate information regard the issues facing children and young adults living with cancer and other serious illnesses We need your support to do it (Donate page).
We are now working to support Tyler’s Room, a music therapy space at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine. Through Tyler’s Room, Beth Israel will hire a new music therapist and buy musical instruments, recording equipment and software, streaming accounts and concert tickets for young patients with serious illnesses. The therapists at Beth Israel are masters at using music for diagnosis and therapy and Tyler’s Room will expand their ability to help people in need. It will also reflect Tyler Seaman, who was a bassist and drummer and a tireless maker of playlists and mix CDs that expressed his moods and have allowed his family and friends to maintain a link to him that they can renew every time they press play. Thank you for visiting, and we encourage you to get involved and to donate to our cause in any way you can.
